We will nomally ship your order within 10 business days of receiving payment; please note that shipping to the United States regularly takes two to three weeks via Canada Post's "expedited" option, and less than one week via Canada Post's "express" option. Orders will be shipped via the method you select during checkout. Please contact us if you require special shipping assistance.
If your order is being sent to someplace on the Island of Montreal, we will deliver it for free. No minimum required.
Delivery in North America is free for orders of $50 or more.
We offer international shipping; however, it takes a loooong time with the standard shipping option -- anywhere from 2 to 3 months! What's more, for some reason a lot of international packages go missing or are returned. Something to do with customs, something also to do perhaps with people forgetting they placed the order after 2-3 months and not picking it up from the post office. In any case, if you order from outside of North America, we will mail your item, but be forewarned.
Pre-Orders and Delays
We occasionally make new titles available for pre-order; if you order such a title your entire order will be held until we have it in stock. If you would like to only have the pre-ordered title held, you should place two separate orders.
Out of Stock
Sometimes we sell out of a title you may have ordered; we will let you know and will offer you the option to receive a refund or to have us ship it once it is in stock again.
Shipping from Canada to anywhere in the world is exorbitant, and we nonetheless offer free shipping in North America for many orders. To avoid losing money on such orders we often have third parties ship our books for us, if they have them on hand. This can mean that your order will arrive in several packages, and some of those packages may be from our friends at PM Press, Burning Books, AK Press -- or from corporations that we would rather not have anything to do with, but who currently have cornered the market and so have made themselves unavoidable (i.e. Amazon).
We will replace any product that is damaged or defective. Please contact us to report any problems you have with your order. Your satisfaction is important to us. If you decide that you simply do not want a product you have received please contact us and we will discuss options for returning the product and getting a refund.
Very rarely Canada Post manages to lose an item. In all such cases you will be entitled to either a full refund, or a replacement at no additional cost. In such cases you may be required to provide information about your purchase, as well as additional contact information, to Canada Post.
