Anarchist Fictions

Based in Montreal and Toronto, Anarchist Fictions is a new print journal of literary fiction and poetry on anarchy-adjacent themes.

As eclectic as anarchism itself, the first issue offers literary pieces about domination and rebellion that range from playful to harrowing. The issue's original stories feature a harmful loner, a potential cop-killer, a lovelorn revolutionary, a zombie, a resilient water-creature, and a human who tries to transform into some sort of the latter. 

Includes reprinted fiction by Walid Daqqa, Rachel A. Rosen, and Voltairine de Cleyre; original poems selected by writer Cid V. Brunet about anarchy, love, and existence; and reprinted poems by the nihilist romantic Alberto Caeiro, Greek anarchist Katerina Gogou, Palestinian writer Ahmed Saleh, and more. This volume is beautifully illustrated by guest artist Bog and printed on thick matte crema paper.
