This collection, published in 2024 by Going Against the Tide, brings together articles, coming from a communist perspective, on the struggle against police brutality that were published in the journal kites and on its website from 2020–23. kites journal was a collaboration between communists in the US and Canada, and was the predecessor of Going Against the Tide, a journal charting a path for communist revolution in the US.
